Absolutely stunning detailing. I too did heaps of hand sewing detailing on my red Queen from Tim Burton’s Alice in wonderland. I couldn’t find the right fabric for the outter skirt so I hand embroidered 2.5 meters of fabric to get the right look. There is also heaps of jewels to put on it and lining and the sleeves were so detailed etc... so worth all the work in the end.

Where do you get the textiles with the embroidery? I can't think of any mainstream use that would justify production costs. Ordering custom patterns that are woven and not painted would be freaking expensive.
