I agreed with everything he said except there is a big difference between eddie and khabib. Thats why he looked like a different fighter and ill actually say he was a better fightet against khabib. People forget his biggest wins where when he had a massive size advantage over his competitors. He was even much bigger then eddie but way way bigger then jose as an example.

Chris Nettos big size advantage plus favourable matchups and guys who he could easily manipulate with verbal warfare. Porier, Aldo and Eddie had already lost those fights before they stepped in the octagon. Khabib was the first genuine superstar he fought who wasn’t favourable for him matchup wise and couldn’t get under his skin and we all saw what happened there. I hope he comes back to Gaejthe and gets brutally KO’ed to really finish his career and we can be done with this Connor talk.

Nobody knew Askren til Jorge smashed him with that flying knee. Now i'm interested to see what he can do in his 3rd ufc fight. if he can go on a small win streak maybe he'd get a shot at khabib? doubt it. but id love to see them 2 grapple for wrestling Supremacy. plus it wld be nice to see someone taking khabib down once in a while instead of vice versa.

Look at his record. I'd say that's completely accurate. Andrey Koreshkov (Bellator Champ) brutally beat the tar out of Benson Henderson (UFC Champ) bell to bell. Ben Askren had completely man handled Andrey Koreshkov for 5 rounds a few fights previous. He also dominated another excellent fighter in Douglas Lima (Bellator 2X Champ) who just K.O.'d M.V.P. (Michael Venom Page) with one punch. Both those dudes had that same "distant" look in their eyes that Edson Barbosa had when he fought Khabib. Both those dudes could also easily be in UFC's top 5 in WW Div. Skeptics of Ben really need to go back and watch Ben's fights. Most guys were never really even in the fight with Ben. Complete and total domination. I'd even go so far as to say if Ben fought Jorge Masvidal 10 more times, Ben would beat him all 10 times. Yes, I saw (and loved) Jorge's incredible flying knee. ;) I'm a big fan of Jorge's too but I stand by my statement.

Hugh Joel Caulk My guy, Henderson had lost the UFC title 3 years prior to that loss and well past him prime/fighting in a division above. Any UFC top welterweight would beat the breaks off Koreshkov. The fact you think MVP would be a top 5 WW in the UFC says it all. Any top 15 WW and probably even lightweight in the UFC right now would demolish him. Lima is literally the only half decent fighter he’s faced and we saw what happened there, unless you want to count a washed up Daley. He fought no one but bums and was hyped up for his extravagant striking but will get exposed by any top talent unless he manages to get a lucky K.O. Even Lima wouldn’t stand a chance against top 5 UFC WWs and would struggle against anyone in the top 10. I think askren is a great wrestler but he’s up against a different level of competition in the UFC, and when you factor in that he’s in the twilight of his career, I do think he will beat a couple of big names but I can’t see him ever becoming a champ especially in a division dominated by wrestlers who, unlike askren, also have the ability to strike.

Hugh Joel Caulk Put Colby or Usman against the caliber of fighter that Askren spent fighting his whole career in One and Bellator and see what they do to them. Just because he’s undefeated and dominant against lesser opponents doesn’t make it impressive. I was looking forward to seeing what he would deliver in the UFC but he has been a huge letdown

The Lima that beat MVP is a different fighter from the kid who lost in 2012 to Askren and Askren is exactly the same fighter,one dimensional and no matter what excuses u make my statement stands, Askren has dominated NO-ONE in the UFC and holds the record for getting btfo faster than anyone ever. 2 fights,1 highly questionable win that saw him being mauled by Lawler for most all of it and then being so absolutely predictable Jorge needed all of 4 seconds to take advantage of his one dimensional fight plan. If u think what Jorge did was luck than u have no idea what your talking about and should probably fuck off back to cricket or curling or whatever the fuck you do know about

@@DC-pt4gm - I mainly meant Douglas Lima and Andrey Koreshkov. (I think UFC wrestlers Destroy MVP) I think Lima beat Rory but Bellator judges gave it to Rory. Yes Ben's striking is bad but once he got his hands on anyone it was over for them. Honestly, I just hope Ben's the same fighter after that K.O. by Jorge(?) ​ Honestly I was let down too but Jorge was lucky. (beautiful as it was and practiced or not) If Ben still has it(?) he beats Jorge the next 10 in a row. Ben dominates Marty or Colby. I'm actually more concerned about Damien. Whom Colby and Marty could beat easily. I just think it's a bad match up for Ben. I just hope Ben bounces back.
