That's so true that we definitely do not realize the trauma until we are far removed. Growing up with a ma who also sold drugs never to that extent but being on valium etc I think it's not a unique story to 80s babies. There's just not many left to tell it edit thats nuts cuz me and my pops were at Maryland reception center and eventually same compound. After seeing my father on yard sone older heads who knew both my father and my uncle t. Next day they moved my cell. When you go to visit prisons as a child I think it just does something to the mind
