She was locked in a room, slowly going mad. I see her wringing her hands, wandering around. The family locked her away and ignored her until she died. She died mad.......don't ask me how I know this - but I do - being an empath I had to turn this off - she's so sad and so betrayed - then that man left her to die - laughing as he did so - she is still wandering those halls -get someone in to release her - whatever 'religion' was current at that time - please give her peace. Well they came from a big house,so more than likely they were Anglican or Protestant, afaik church of Ireland maybe. Catholics were living in mud huts back then...fammine house's....
@shannenhiggins49756 жыл бұрын
They were protestant. The Tottenham family had brought in many people to exorcise the house but in the end brought in a Catholic priest who "banished the demons from loftus hall" as it apparently said on his grave. She didn't wring her hands either, legend says she rocked back and forth in the foetal position until her bones fused that way, when she died they had to design a different shaped coffin. Personally I don't believe lady Anne is malicious, tortured and emotional yes, but I believe there's something else in that house much more sinister. When I visited I didn't feel uneasy in the tapestry room where she died, but when I got to that servants staircase it was like something was standing behind me, breathing in my ear.

I lived and worked just outside of Bray , Co . Wicklow at a riding school that I leave unnamed .... ( but the instructors there are brilliant ... ) I stayed in a room in an old building just behind the school and I must do say that the whole place, including the riding school was very alive with unseen horses and people . My room was reputedly the room of the ghost , " Fred " who supposedly frightened working pupils . Fred frightened me at first as well until we had an argument over his behavior towards me & that I rented the room and HAD to stay in his place of residence . Fred became a very good friend of mine in a time where I had no friends nor support system . In example : If I were writing a letter , he would hang over my right shoulder reading as I wrote . I'd wave him away and promise to leave the letter out so that he could read the progress as I went through the drafts . This seemed to placate his curiosity ... Fred followed me throughout Europe for years until I invited him to go Home, into the light . I miss him very much but am so honoured to have had his friendship for many years .

Dogjust dog, my home and workplace is haunted too, but we have nicer ghosts and they keep evil spirits at bay, while keeping us safe. If you are bothered by them, have blessed salt in the corners of your bedroom. First open windows and doors so to let spirits escape. Go clockwise when placing salt in each corner. Make sure it is kosher sea salt, no other salt. Have it blessed. After that, you will have restful sleep.

Right , I have seen two or three people in my house , especially at night . One I think is my Nannie because when she died we started to get things falling off shelves , usually near her picture in our kitchen , she also knocks things over a lot . There’s a little girl who runs across my landing and she stands in corners . The girl is usually quiet and she just stares at us normally when it’s dark or late in the evening and if we’re ever up late we see her a lot . The third and final ( I hope ) ghost is a tall man , he just stands and I can hear his breathing and he doesn’t stare , not at us at least , he looks down and just stands there I don’t think any of them mean o do us harm so we like to make jokes when we see them or if we’re at home alone we joke around but recently , actually a few days ago , I went to sleep and it was fine I had a great night of sleep but when I woke up I had three small cuts on my right hand , the hand on the outside of my bed , and I have a strong feeling it’s the little girl as I have a feeling she’s more of a mischievous ghost since she’s younger than the man or my nan . What do you guys think ? I’d love if your professional opinion on it
@Bloodhound_Dogg6 жыл бұрын
Jade Matthews it's demonic...period! Threes only two types of ghosts. The satanic ghosts of lucifer and his angels and the Holy Ghost. A demon is an angel and that's the angels name "Demon". There are many evil angels that fell from heaven when lucifer was cast out. Spirits need places to dwell..the bible talks of a story where Christ cast 7 spirits into pigs and they ran into the river and drowned. Google the story... You need to call a pastor. NOT A PRIEST!! A pastor to come pray with you because nothing can be done to the house only to you and your personal spiritual life with God. The closer you are to Him the more afraid these evil spirits are.

Yes this place is absolutely worth visiting. Hit Hook Head Lighthouse then cartch Loftus Hall on the way out. 100% recommend.

So..... did you guys catch any evidence of anything? The show was a great history lesson with a paranormal slant to it, more so than a straight up paranormal show. I'd watch more.

Fair play to Tom for going upstairs on his own, I was bricking it just watching him... if I had been there I would have broken down in tears from the fear... I was at Loftus Hall lots of times, that place is evil.

The story isn't even real lmao. You hardly think they don't let people upstairs because it isn't safe? Its because people would ask to see the 'hole' from up there when its really not up there.

Real or not real it would still be terrifying to be upstairs in that old building, alone, in black darkness in the middle of the night.

If you were at Loftus Hall many times, what experiences did you have there? At home, I live with clandestine hauntings, so I know plenty about ghosts. Btw, ghosts can haunt at any time of day or night, no fixed time for hauntings. 3 am is the peak time for hauntings, the time when the number of ghosts reaches its climax. I once saw a ghost of a lady and that was at roughly 3 pm afternoon.

Ok idk much abt hauntings in Ireland, Britain, Europe in general, but with the older history it makes me wonder how it affects spirits & energy & such. This is probably one of the first hauntings I've heard of in Europe, first in Ireland. You didn't need bs special effects or dramatic hunters like Zak Bagans putting on a show. Just the feel of that place, they didn't need to find anything to make that scary. Better than "spooky" movies. U felt how wrong that place felt. Ur lucky to get a 100 year old ghost here. How does that change when u have something with a 700 year history (for example). Just wow. I like how calm & professional they were.
