Thanks for sharing. Brilliant video of days gone by. I eremember this film and always remembered wanting to see again the tying of a latex body dry fly. Very rare video. Well done!

This film looks like it was made in the 70's when i was a wee bairn fly fishing with my da on Lough Gill -- that was at a time when the trout fishing was good. Sadly, due to pollution, there's not much good fishing there anymore.

Great piece of heritage.those men were top of their sport with wild fish.i remember going out and buying a dapping rod after seeing this film originally. Hope some of the fellows are still alive.fly fishing in its purest form.
