When the Irish army is training we use the styer aug A1 but when we are deployed we use the styer aug A3 with an ACOG scope. If u guys want to see the best SOF unit in the world look for the Army ranger wing (Irish SF)

Styer AUG A1 have been replaced with the A2 version and no A3 version of the styer AUG is in the Irish Defence Forces and we still use the A2 abroad.

Once you find a video, click on the video so it begins to play. You then click on the URL and where it says 'www.youtube', you change that to 'www.ssyoutube'. You can then download the video for free in most qualities, including 750p. Make sure you select MP4 when choosing a quality.

My great Grandfather (From Naas Co Kildare) fought for the British in the early 1900's in Africa and India. Served loyally. It really pains me that the old rivalry is still around and starting up again, with finger pointing and shite talking. We share a history, a blood and this beautiful little spot on the planet. The real enemies are those from outside who are slowly but surely growing in our midst. " British army would crush this " sorry but last time the uk sent troops to Ireland they lost thousands of soldiers and that's from paramilitary the Irish defence forces could handle the British army in a defence of Ireland any day especially as Ireland is now a key member in the Eu and un England's military wouldn't be able to take Ireland as it would without a doubt involve the European Union and the Irish military are in more conflicts than British due to peace keeping forces all across the eastern world Ireland's navy is shit and so is its Air Force but their Irish rangers have beaten us navy seals and sas on numerous occasions and tests/ training and are ranked the some of the best snipers in the worlds and their army is trained for Irish environment and are more trained and equipped to handle a British land invasion. Though two counties are allies and this is purely a hypothetical Situation and the Irish military is smaller in many ways than the uks without a doubt the Royal army has fallen on a past of former glory and wouldn't be able to defend and invasion of the north from the republic

This is so misguided, by mere figures alone we would literally crush Ireland. All together the Irish military consists of 9500 men, 9500! That’s a minuscule amount. There is no way you’d be able to defend your sea, your air or your land. The Uk military consists of 160,000. The Uk defence budget is also around 56 billion whereas Ireland’s is 885 million. Britain’s equipment is also some of the worlds best, we have the most advanced drone stealth bomber and the most advanced tank armour in the world used only on Challenger II’s and M1 Abrams. Our special forces are also world class training other world class special forces, our naval forces such as the Royal Marines are also world class beating forces 3x their size and marching for miles just to reach the fight. We also have some of the best intelligence in the world being part of the five eyes intelligence alliance. Our ‘soft power’ is also ye best in the world being able to influence other countries massively and our alliances are with the strongest countries in the world.

toolboxtan Guerilla warfare is what the IRA used, thats a damn sight harder to fight than conventional warfare which is what the Irish defence forces would use, the Irish army wouldnt even be able to come close to an attack on northern Ireland, not only would the UVF probably fuck you over but the British army would have little trouble in defending it. Cannot compare Irish Rangers to the SAS or SBS, British special forces are a cut above the rest
