This was the best discussion with writers I think I have ever watched. So many discussions are , for practical reasons, just interviewer and author, but having two writers discuss their books with you and one another made this such a rich experience. Thank you Shawn.

I always love it when you have Cauvery and Rónán on your channel and not just for their lovely Irish accents! They are both so insightful about people and what makes them who they are, the realities of their lives, their emotions and relationships with others and it must be this awareness and observation that makes them such good writers. Looking forward to reading both of their books!

Wonderful chats Shawn, but when I see your enthusiasm meeting authors I am always reminded of something Margaret Atwood said in her Negotiating with the Dead - wanting to meet an author because you like their work is like wanting to meet a duck because you like pate! She believes the ‘Margaret Atwood’ who writes the books is a different person to the Marge who makes cookies and knits sweaters with arms that are too long.
