my grandad grew up near Gibbstown halt along the line in the 30s. back then it was a lifeline for the local community for transporting everything from cattle to shuggerbeat.

Stations were the lifeblood of the community providing it with the outside link to the larger centres for connecting people and goods.

It's nice to see that Irish locomotives are fitted with proper headlights, instead of those Mickey Mouse headlights used in Great Britain.

The American locos always had decent headlights. I never understood why British locos never had proper headlights. Driving in the dark isn't easy!
