Wow! It jogged my memory and brought a lump to my throat. Sadly many are no longer around, but fortunately some are. Caffrey with a blue tilt? That's a new one on me. East West was a great sight to see on the road. Thank you for sharing; that was great!

Liverpool docks East West trailer collected Sunday afternoon and one hit dover. Ferry across. Then run like the wind without drawing attention. Park up Vienna or Graz Mon night b4 2200. Tip Tue morn , reload Tue afternoon or Wednesday morning and then 29.5 hrs back to the dock in Liverpool. 6 trips a month at 350 stg a trip and 50 quid per trip xtra for running the "Cherry" once across Channel. Add duty free and expenses and it was feckin great wages for a driver who could keep it lit day in day out , year in and year out. 56 now and have no debt and a government who still wants to tell me when to eat , sleep ,piss. No chance . "Danny Boy" never slept and yet the Traitors still got into power having never done a days work. "Up Galway" and "Volvo" trucks. They never let you down when the tacho was on bed😅😊💚💚
