This Budget hit everybody not just those "earning too much". And speaking of those earning exorbitant amounts, the Government has yet again failed to close tax loopholes and go after tax exiles.

The greens, you never hear of them wanting to have the sodium fluoride removed from our water supply, as if people couldn't afford toothpaste,if that were so, then how on earth are they supposed to pay the housing tax, carbon tax and there's never any mention of that ever, but they don't mind the carbon tax Pon-zi scheme. Or giving away our gas tax free. These fools and The Enda Ireland As You and I Both Know It are ruining our country. Vote No! to the EU's fiscal treaty.

Perhaps so, but the point Pat is making is that in the new budget there is nowhere that it is obvious that the Green Party has wielded influence and introduced "green" taxes or schemes.

Labour means labour. where are the jobs? We just exported all our potential brains, we've always exported our workforce, they've always had to flee for a living.
