I read this book back when it was still on Wattpad, as well as the second one and then the third. I never finished the series because the two of them just kept going down this toxic spiral that was SO repetitive. He even does something in either book 2 or 3 where he super takes advantage of her and it made me _so mad_ and I was 13 at the time I read it. So when a 13-year-old gets mad about something like that, you know it's wrong. I'm never going to finish the series because I don't want to give Anna Todd any of my money. When I read it on Wattpad it was still free, I don't know if that's still the case.

Actually i read all of the After series and its the first time that i hated so much the main character, but i promise they get better in the end they both un knowledge their mistake and their way of thinking. I had a weird experience with these books because I read them when I was about 19/20 (25 now) I didn’t romanticize it like some younger girls may and actually I was reading the first one at the time and was sitting next to my then boyfriend realizing the manipulation and controlling nature was exactly who I was with so at least that’s one good thing that it opened my eyes to everything I was ignoring but feeling disgusted by Hardin when I read it. but on a whole these books will have more of a negative impact for people.
