# Pomegranate Molasses:....and not within the realm of wearability?? To intentionally design outside of that reality is wasteful and pointless unless designed specifically as unrestricted art, untethered to the disciplines and requirements of the fashion business and created exclusively for display in a gallery for costumes.
@pomegranatemolasses64325 жыл бұрын
@@johntucker9326 honestly, I think a lot of these are wearable, especially the flowing, fish-like ones. I think high fashion is there to be outrageous and artistic. Too many fashion houses these days just re-hash street wear for x10 the cost. It's refreshing to see something with an interesting design that's actually unique
@johntucker93265 жыл бұрын
@@pomegranatemolasses6432 like it or not it is a business. That's the reality. The great couturiers understood this and still retained their creative, innovative genius, much of which is referenced still today in the better, less obtuse couture presentations. A responsible designer must keep the potential wearer in mind; if he or she prefers to lose sight of that indisputable fact and design purely "for art's sake" with no respect for the house's bottom line or reason for existence, then that designer needs to take his or her talent elsewhere beyond the expectations and disciplines of business.

Miss. Bitch, Swerve in the description of her video, it literally says that she drew inspiration from MARINE (ocean) systems and ecology, and tied them into neuroscience and dendritic function. Jan wasn’t completely wrong at all. While Iris does in fact play around with natural textures I.e water, light, vibration etc., and applies it beautifully to her silhouettes, there’s also a scientific bio-ecological niche that she taps into to produce these pieces. It’s magnificent.

Abseluty gorgeous. The fabrics are light and comfortable even when structured. They blend into colors and create larger than life 3d paintings. Like a beautiful dream.

This is super inspiring for me as a growing artist. Every design is beautiful snd unique in its own way. The models look absolutely fabulous. The presentation was on point. Simply graceful and spectacular.

Mesmerising. Each gown is like a living, breathing organism. An absolute masterpiece of a show.
