The discipline is not there any longer, nor is the student leadership. I was in this band from 95-99 and it saddens me greatly to see the Irmo Band now, I can't even watch. We had a spectacular director, one who the district and wonderful principal at the time took forgranted. You will learn some of the best life lessons from band. I'm almost 28 now and I am who I am today because of this program. Learn all that you can and take it with and use it later in life!

Northwestern alum here... this was Irmo's peak. I watched this show religiously and even learned some of the snare parts so I could play along. Incredible show. We as a drumline had a ton of respect for you guys. Absolutely killed it. 2002 Irmo was on a completely different level than anyone in 5A that year. Insanely clean snare line. Always wanted to meet you guys. We lost a couple guys on drumline my senior year and even went with 4 snares and no tenors just like y'all did in 02. Not sure if it was purposeful to imitate you, maybe just a coincidence.

Irmo is really good. I'm from Aiken High. We're getting a new band director this year. Hopefull we'll be this good (: marching band is love haha

This is awesome. For years my band and youre band went to the same regionals, and we placed 1 spot ahead of you forever, then in 2001 you finnaly got one ahead of uss, we came in third at the regional, you deserved it! Youre amazing, well you were, now you are incredably small, youre good for you size, its sorta sad, you went down in size so much, weve gone up. Any chance youll get up to this level again?
