I tried the boots with a boss. Turns out I don't see Comet often. Maybe my flee rate is too high for him?
Anyhow, two casts are enough and this will surely help you finish any boss (except ghost property, ofc) faster.

What are you using for shadows? I got concentration set and magical set but not sure what to use on my armor and shoes

Shadow Spell Shadow Set + Shadow Chaser Shield Shadow + Major Auto Spell Shadow Armor & Shoes

I heard others talk about using Aloe Vera until Comet procs

Yes, you can. But I don't have Aloe Vera, and Auto Spell build can't kill this boss in one Comet anyway, so let the gear do the work naturally.
