iRO Warlock Jobchange Walkthrough

Changing jobs to Warlock from my 99 High Wiz on iRO Ymir

This quest took me about 2 hours.

Lol, your equipment and resourses were a bit overkill, I did it with an eden set and a staff of destruction XD. The key in the begining is to use storm gust lvl 1 to freeze most of the mob and corner yourself with ice wall while they're frozen on the lower side of the room in order to dispose quickly with the aqua elementals, beyond that it becomes really easy, you just freeze them and smack them with whatever you want. Phen or bloody butterfly are mandatory in this quest, but beyond that it's a matter of using your skills wisely. Nice video btw, it's been years since the last time I did this quest and didn't remember how to start lmao.

I think I might have used a streaming program to record this but if not than I was using a licensed version of fraps. The files come out ridiculously large though so rendering takes a while.

@Densebrains try to borrow a phen clip then bring about 50 whites. just calmly cast chain lightning on the aquas and crimson rock on the rest while healing and you'll get out of there with white pots to spare (: also, having a heal clip helps in between and if you want to use energy coat remember to bring a few blues only to keep the defense up, especially since the skill stones don't use any SP.

@Densebrains okay okay perfect. you only need about 50-75 whites. as soon as the map loads drop a level 1-5 SG it will freeze everything else and carefully drag the aquas to an empty corner and quickly chain lightning those two. afterwards, try to clear out the frozen monsters with earth quake. heal up, regain sp or whatever, than take the remaining mob to a corner and kill them off than quickly cast SG again to freeze the monsters. rinse and repeat.

@Densebrains have you tried to use firewall or icewall? the trick is to get rid of the aqua first so you have to target them first by keeping everything else off of you. if need be, safety wall is your best bet if you don't have any phen clips.

@HomemMixirica no you don't have to do it twice. i think the only reason i did it twice is because my mercenary got the last hit on the magic crystal the first time. the second time i had the mercenary disabled while i finished the quest.

You shouldn't have used the scrolls crimson rock. You should've saved it for the rock. That's what I did and I passed it easy! And I didn't used any mercenary scrolls. :)

it's nearly impossible use baby wiz to warlock job quest, since baby hp more lower than normal character, but maybe a luck can save you :D

im barely managing to solo 1v1 the nagas, how on earth am i suppose to kill 4-8 monsters all at once ?!!? i only have 4611 hp!

Should I Crimson Rock the rest when they break through the ice? Because my Crimson Rock doesn't do much damage against them, like 15k-ish. I will have to SG like 3 times x_x I'm wearing Skull Cap + TSoD.

Akihiro Ryuu Owh god you right,thx. One more question dude!,How that guy can have skill Heal lvl5 when using Healing Bandana ?,i think that Bandana has been slotted by Vitata Card and the card has effect Can Use Skill Heal Lvl1. How could he use that skill to level 6 ???

+Farid Aldi im a hacker (; its a little glitch. i put level 6 heal in the same slot on another character and it just displays 6. i think... its been such a long time i dont even remember if there is any other way to get a higher level heal but i'm pretty sure its just a glitch. don't worry it's still level 1 heal lol
