Before replacing the cleaning head module, see if the vacuum turbine spins easily (located after filter, must open). A little lube there can also solve the problem. At least for me it did.

That worked. Remove the dust bin and look at the fan that is where the dust bin filter is. Mine was stuck; I used a pen to manually try and spin it. It came free and when then working normally again.

Good tip. I put a drop of old motor oil onto that motor and she's humming along again.

Fixed the error on my i7 Is the motor working too hard to turn the fan blade? I opened up everything to get to the dowel of the fan blade. I tried turning it by hand a bit firm when I did. The dowel which has approximately 3 washers (two are together) on it. After removing all of them, I put 1 drop of oil and graphite powdere onthe dowl where each one of the washers isand where they touch each other or the housing. (especailly important is where the dowel attaches to the plastic housing) After this I put it all back together and turned it again by hand which moved more freely than before. It has been working GREAT ever since. Hope this helps

The irobot is very badly designed. Had this error come up twice in the two years I owned the product. Luckily I was covered by the warranty. But it seems like this problem will reoccur every year. My advice is to try an alternate vaccum cleaner than the one roomba offers.
