Had it for almost a month so far very satisfied works way better then previous models grids 🌼 better maps better quieter gets the house done much faster then previous model and better job as well and loved the self emptying! So far very happy didnt rate tech support because I haven't needed so couldn't honestly say however if it's anything like the product I'm sure I would be pleased

So far so good with this vacuum. kzbin.infoUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

The brushes are so loud on hardwood and stone tile floors. Is yours like that as well? We’re thinking about returning it because of this. We really don’t want to so I’m hoping that yours isn’t like that.

On my FOURTH attempt to map my home. First one was pretty good but had a few dividers where a real wall was which made it think it could take a path it couldn't. This seemed to freak it out for my 9 x 7 walk in closet. My 980 could do the master bedroom bathroom akd closet in 45 minutes. The S9 would burn am entire charge just cleaning the closet. The next two times I tried to map it was a disaster. Totally jacked up and each training run would last 15 hours!!! I factory reset the robot each time. It appears to be doing better this time around. We will see. I really wajt this robot to work. Like the better cleaning ability plus of course the advanced features with mapping and control over cleaning certain areas and of course the auto empty.

My s9 can not even clean on my thick carpet the extractors are to close to the floor so it can not move on thick carpet. I loved the s9 but had to send it back. The i7 works good on my carpet.

Remove that side brush ASAP. Side brush is just a gimic to compete with all the rest and make better marks on cleaning hard to reach spots. Remove the bottom plate. Remove the two small brush motor screws. Remove the brush motor. Replace the bottom plate. Duck tape over the brush motor hole. Improves run time and IMO cleans as good or better than with the brush.

£1,500 UK money, that's an expensive robot vacuum. I guess I'll have to stick with my 770, which is still going strong after many years. Roomba needs to make a stair climbing vacuum, so it can wander and clean the whole house automatically. Including the stairs...

It may be just my robot but this thing sucks. It gave me a code 9 every time I ran this thing. I even took off the side brush thinking it would run since the majority of the house is carpet but it still gave me a code 9. I could have brought it back and tried another one but it wasn’t worth it to me. I really wanted this thing to work

No compromises you say! Compared to Roborock 6 1. Ok run the Roomba in dark 😂😂 ? 2.And I can see it is getting stuck slot like my old 980. Roborock is like a cockroach ( it will find a way😀). 3. Battery life 45 min. is a joke compared to S6 massive battery. 4. Slow cleaning and worse navigation than Roborock 5. Missing a mop function 6. Maps are less detailed 6. 1300USD and here in Denmark probably 2000USD 😂😂. 7. Irobot is going to face some tough times in future unless Trump blacklists Xiaomi also.

There are a fair few things the Roborock vacuums don't do that both Neato and iRobot vacuums are able to. Many people have been upset with the update nature of the S50 and previous Xiaomi-branded model in regards to things like per-room cleaning. 45 minute battery life in this house is definitely worse than other robot vacuums (including iRobot's own Roomba i7), but other robot vacuums cannot empty themselves and continue if the dustbin gets full. It's certainly not a deal-breaker for most people, but it's a feature that will make many people happy. Mopping on robot vacuums is notoriously ineffective. It's a wet sweep, at best, and doesn't really hold up to what people think of mopping (i.e. sanitizing a floor). The price is crazy, there's absolutely no mincing words. This is a niche product because of that.

As far as running in the dark goes, the s9 no longer relies solely on the camera up top. Previous Roombas had that issue because they only used the single camera as visual navigation and relied on bump-and-go for backup.

Just get a Miele 2000w vacuum, get your house cleaned properly in 30 mins, get some cardio pushing it backwards and forwards and add to your steps whilst doing it. Or just get Uber eats and be a fat bastard on the sofa whilst this does the work ... The world 2020....

S9+ is terrible for me, Maps extremely poorly, stares at a wall back-and-forth until the battery dies repeatedly, gets stuck on the same couch edge repeatedly, honest the most stupid device I’ve ever seen. My old Botvac connected was logical and went back-and-forth and could map until the brain got glitchy; I still use it and it cleans well until the brain glitches and I have to reboot. S9+ Roomba: never again! DO NOT BUY!
