Ooh, looks like it's finally coming! I pre-ordered this without knowing anything about Overlord, on the strength of Iron Factory's previous releases. Luckily I recently watched Masterforce, and have just gotten to the point in MTMTE where he appears, and I'm pleased to find Overlord is indeed a badass villain! Shame there are no grain of rice sized Mega and Giga for this figure.

Getting G1 Overlord got me hooked on collecting Transformers again. This looks really cool, but kinda tiny. I don't think it scales well with other generations figures

with the peg holes on the top of the tank could you also have the tank underneath the jet

+shockwave1539 No pegs under the jet to peg him onto easily. The thigh pegs are to narrowly set to peg into the tank.

Magnaboss Prime technically he's still a tad to big but he's probably the closest thing to proper scale there is for Overlord next to Metroplex.

I'm not reading the comics, but what's the point in having those tiny turbines? They don't do anything significant... Also I can't understand why the designers couldn't make the G1 Overlord have his gun as the tank turret. It's way more logical and useful than having a separete piece which has 0 function in every other mode.

Good looking robot mode, but too much part forming for my taste... and I dont like the tank... good thing I canceled my preorder, thanks for the review, I wasnt sure if I done a good decision into cancelling my preorder a while ago... but this reassure me that I wouldnt like the figure. ;-)
