The style is basically spam your m1s til its about to run low then use ur heavy only for brawlers and brutes like me ofc, it basically makes them more agitated and nervous cuz they dont know how to react to it fastly which makes it an fast block break. Edit:u can use it any type of passive, agressive but being an brawler is much better for iron fist.

Honestly, what they should do with iron fist is that they should increase his shield damage from m1s and able to anti heal through blocks (only a tiny amount, but enough to leave a stain.)

if you get used to fighting iron fists you will realize its easy to counter, all the m2s can be countered by dashing forward in the right time, m1s are slow so it can be countered too, and the ult is the only thing that should be looked at

alright… iron fist pros and cons… pros: - above average dmg and block break - anti heal m1s - extremely lower m2 counter dmg intake - 75% dmg ult - opponent generates less ult downsides: - bad dash - very below average startup - mediocre block - ult does 40-50% dmg to you - passive slowdown does nothing - m2 deals self dmg

iron fist genuinely the best way to pressure your enemy, i just think you wanna try not to use much of your m2. make it only used when you block break them or their stamina runs out. so it wont be a big issue

I feel like iron fist is over powered when it comes to dps but what tricks people is the Dodge delay when he dodges once your good at dodging at iron fist then your just a God at every other style in the game

As an Iron Fist main... Yeah this style sucks. Worse Slugger in almost every way. However their are some particular upsides people dont notice; - The m2s are slow as all hell, but they're also perfect for conditioning your opponent into doing what you want. For that reason, the M2 is actually great for playing mindgames with people. Get creative with it, you never know what might work. - Like slugger, theres never a moment where a punish is going to be underwhelming. Everything you hit your opponent with will sting. When your opponent messes up, they're going to feel it. For that reason, and because your ultimate does 80% damage, it is always possible to make a comeback. -People REALLY don't like it when you get in there face and don't go away when fighting Iron. Even skilled players may panic when the funny m2 style wont bug off. With the new backdash nerf, you can essentially get free punishes if you can predict backdashes. -your counter M2 damage intake means in most scenarios you take LESS damage if the M2 were to counter you than if you were just to eat the raw M2. All this, you probably knew, however this also makes calling out feints essentially risk free, since if they are doing an m2, who cares? You're taking less damage if you get hit by it. And if they are doing a feint? Free counter. This strat is so effective, that in Iron Fist 1v1s, if you just face tank the other iron fists m2 with a counter, you take about the same self damage they do, and it essentially invalidates slugger m2 out of m1 strings. -You should almost always be going for Iron Fist m2s, even if they Stam break. 9/10 times your opponents punish won't do nearly enough to make up for it. This is in contrast to other styles that would eat shit otherwise when trying this. Dont be afraid to trade blow every once in a while, cause you trade positively. -It takes around 2 m2s and a blocked m1 string to kill somone with ult, or 1 counter m2 and a blocked m1 string, this is even less for styles with less health then average. As well as this, it is actually GOOD to ult on your opponents 2nd life if you're still on your 1st, especially at low health. You shouldnt do this if your health is high or if their health is below around 70%, because then its a waste and should be saved, but if you can pull this off, you can charge 2 iron fist ults in one game. You can do around 160 damage to your opponents average health pool of 300, with 2 moves, in one game. Game balance is drowningsomes passion. -Flip flop between m2s and m1s, and dont be afraid to string them together. Too many m1s = pded, too many m2s = pded. If you're at low health, or just feeling silly, dont be afriad to spam m2s randomly. It works more then you think.

Iron fist feels terrible to plat right now. It's only good against new players. Good luck hitting good Hawk players with these slow ahh m2s. If you want to play a good heavy hitter, just play slugger. His m2s have so much potential for mix-ups

@@XxUltralegendplayzXx just because you beat someone you consider good while using the style doesn’t mean it actually is good, objectively the style is garbage, your dashes are trash so you can’t even chase people even though you’re supposed to be aggressive with it, it doesn’t have a dash cancel and your punches are so slow a newborn could dodge them, not to mention the self damage, the style sucks bro.
