Love this weapon too. Right now I play Cold iron Greatsword with frozen mist aow and Cinquedea offhand while using the 1h moveset of the greatsword. The rollcatch potential and range of the overhead R2 is broken. Running R1 + R2 rollcatch + 1 unavoidable dagger hit results in 75% health loss + cold proc.

I personally like claymore and kgs more but the iron gs is definitely a very good looking weapon!

Do the 2H R2 have any hyperarmor to them both uncharged and charged?

I need to look into this more but I can confirm that the 2H R2 has decent hyper armor for both charged and uncharged. I find it more useful to do uncharged and take advantage of its speed though.

How do you make that jump at 6:14 go that far straight out of standing still, facing the other direction?

That’s an excellent question and even warrants a video of its own. To pull this off, you need to hold the left analog stick in the direction you want to jump during the attack animation. And immediately press the jump button… followed by an R1 or R2 attack. It’s important not to press the attack button too soon or you’ll end up just doing a second chain attack. Hope that makes sense.

Has a basic greatsword moveset with average length but very high AR on a strength build and good guard stats basically a hard hitting basic greatsword you can’t go wrong with

Ok but the real question is do you go with banished knight greatsword or an iron greatsword for a strength/faith and strength build? 🤔

Like others have mentioned here, iron greatsword really shines with a pure strength build. I haven’t tried it on a split strength/faith build but I’m sure it would still hold up.

They're both basically the same thing stat-wise, really only depends on which R1 chain you prefer.

Razzium could you make a video with the other greatsword move set? I'd love to see how that kind of moveset is used in the hands of a proficient player such as yourself. You use the sword and not gimmicks like other builds that bleed or frost. Nothing wrong with those but I prefer a good ol sword duel where swords are the main selling point.
