Great to see some normality back at BGT. Kumba predates Hulk so I guess B&M were still evolving the design of the seats . I did not realize you could take GO-Pros on the rides there .... looking like another destination for me to do some on ride filming :-).

Big guy to, plenty of experience with B&M big guy seats. My guess is BGT probably had shorter seat belts the Universal. Seat belt length is up to the parks and I've seen different lengths between Six Flags, Busch, and Cedar parks. Annoying but is what it is.

So I am on a weight loss journey just like you are. Yesterday was my first time at Busch Gardens in a long time and I finally got the courage to try the Sheikra test seat and sure enough I fit! So I rode Sheikra for the first time! I tried my luck with Kumba and I BARELY fit, they needed to jam me in, but the seat on Kumba is very narrow, Sheikra is much more forgiving. Montu I also fit, JUST BARELY. Do you think I would be fine on the sea world rides and IoA rides? I’m 5’9” 287 down from 330 in December.

I have the same problem, big belly. I cannot fit…well BARELY & I mean BARELY get 1 click w/2 people pressing down on my restraint in the “larger seats”on Great White at SeaWorld San Antonio but the same exact ride called Goliath at SF Fiesta Texas & Batman the Ride at all the other SF parks I fit absolutely fine with zero problems & can ride all day but Great White…no way do I feel safe on it & it’s the same ride. I don’t think it truly has larger seats, just 2 straps so I hope I can ride Montu when I go here in June. I think I’ll try wearing some type of girdle or shape wear to hold my belly in.

Putting on 5 mins of a show is ridiculous! Completely unnecessary 🤦🏼‍♀️ I skated in park ice shows for years, and wouldn't dream of doing something like that. We did our test run for park staff only, the night before opening day, to give us a full tech run-through! It was great!
