Another great battle report. Nice to see Ironhands on here. In relation to that rules query about the Hold the Line. It's a morale check but if you fail a moral check you do fall back. Which means if the charger rolls high enough they can cut down the target. It's a really all other nothing reaction because it's very powerful. All bonuses (legion, weapons, extra attack) that trigger on a successful charge are cancelled

@SNBattleReports I though it you fail a morale test you automatically fall back. I could be wrong but played the other day and it happened to my opponent and he informed me he now has to call back. One the final position was determined I rolled my charge and cut him down. I didn't think this until that game

What a great timing with bringing Iron Hands to the studio. I am just getting ready to start my new project for Shatered Legions (Istvaan V survivors), despite them having no rules. Really cool game, awesome models (DC could do some weathering on his brand new fresh from the factory tanks), maybe they will perform better when looking a bit more "experienced"... and also don't forget that when Champion is in a challenge his buddies in the same combat gain fearless.

I love to see IH on the channel! On the first turn the daemons should have gotten their feel no pain against everything the dread had because they are T5 on the first 2 turns.

@@TheMightyDilks Instead of rolling To Wound normally with this weapon, any non-Vehicle model that suffers a Hit from a weapon with this special rule must instead roll under their Strength on a D6 or suffer a Wound (a roll of a ‘6’ always counts as a failure). NP mate, that makes Grav not quite as useless, still the Bombard is far better with 2D6.

Loving the Batreps and ur whole vibe guys. Can a unit charge the troops within a transport if they just shot at the transport? They're technically a different unit, but I do feel that it both makes good sense, and is in the spirit of the game. What do u think?

So if you blow up a tank with a unit inside you can charge with that same unit when disembarked with the unit that fired at the tank.

@@sn_dc Well, that would be amazing. For me they are playable only with fix that came from Liber Panoptica. Small, but really needed changes like the one you can't turn off SoH special rules, 5 ppm less for Power Weapon on Reavers or Spartan for Justaerins. I believe it's worth checking. Waiting for more of your reports, high five!

So very first shot, why is the Rhino not getting a 6+ cover save from the Saber shots for all the intervening models? Has to be 25% covered. Also, if the Rhino is hit by a penetrating hit, the guys inside need to take a leadership test to see if they are snap firing I belive. Also just noticed at 58mins, didn't you forget to remove the 5 dead guys in the Sons of Horus tac squad?

You can download the Daemons of the Ruinstorm pdf for free from GW, that’ll give you the Daemon rules. Then you upgrade a Centurion to an Esoterist which lets you summon!
