Normally when you have an account which you play less than 10 ranked games every year. Since for each start of a season your rank will be reset by dropping an elo, so you will eventually reach Iron if you dont play enough rank games that get you back to the elo that belongs to you

That's why Iron 4 accounts sell for nearly as much as master+ accounts. The system is designed to help you climb, and deranking takes a LOT of time, as well as requiring you to be careful not to be so obvious that you get your account banned. If you're ever in the Annie's or Miss Fortune's position in your games, remember that you're not lane locked. The enemy getting lots of kill gold and exp + minion gold and exp + tower gold is a lot harder to as a team comeback from / and personally catch up to than if they just got minion gold and exp + tower gold. Why give them 850 (hopelessly dying 4 times) gold in kills then by force they get at least another 400 in minions (4 minion waves) and another 800 in all 5 tower plates + 150 in first tower gold all while you're struggling to get even 105 gold from the 6 minions. I'd rather go up against an enemy who is only 1.3k gold ahead and not 2.1k gold ahead. Either proxy or just leave and go gank other lanes or help your jungler clear faster and do an objective. Even if you're playing someone with no CC like Vladimir you can still tank tower shots then sanguine pool to dodge the one that would kill you or click Q on the enemy jungler if they meet you and yours at dragon. And what I'm saying isn't even complex, I'm saying instead of losing super hard and giving a jax a 2.5k gold lead I'm saying let him make his own 1.5k gold lead and you should just run around looking for other people to throw abilities at preferably with the strongest person on your team. Which from your perspective is literally any ally.
