@tclt18 :) Cameras AND apparently camcorders were allowed into the Dallas show. Maiden has never minded having their performances taped or photographed so it was no problem. The setlist was more newer stuff which I enjoyed immensly but there were a few classics thrown in there...I'm sure by the time you read this, you have seen the Houston show. I was there too and will post more video shortly! Thanks.

For this tour Maiden should have ALL Eddie's Through The Years come out on stage --a different Eddie for each song. A Piece of Mind Eddie comes on stage for when they play The Trooper, a Somewhere In Time Eddie comes out when they play Wasted Years, etc. That would be an AWESOME concept for The Final Frontier Tour!

@Alryco Dance of Death is probably up there with their work from the Somewhere in Time and Powerslave, Top 5 song, it's just immersive and atmospheric its awesome and I agree Breeg is probably the best song from AMOLAD

I was there too! (Not nearly so close.) Bruce was AMAZING! Setlist was very heavy on the new material. Felt like the crowd didn't warm up until they played "Fear of the Dark," but the band was fantastic. (So was Dream Theater.)

@goragajo I have to totally agree with you. For those that missed the SBIT tour 2 years ago...you should have gone then. I absolutely LOVE hearing the newer stuff since I wasn't able to see them on the earlier 'reunion' tours. (mainly because I was either pregnant or taking care of my young toddlers at the time) YIKES! But not anymore...I brought my now 91/2 year old daughter 'to the slaughter' so to speak and she LOVED IT!!! Gotta love the young Maiden fans...and there's ALOT of them! :)

Cool vid, great quality on your camera. I actually dig this song so it's cool they're playing this, but I saw the setlist they played in Dallas and I'm really disappointed. I'm really glad I caught them last year when they played a ton of awesome songs. Of their newer albums, I really like Brave New World and Dance of Death, but I couldn't get into A Matter of Life and Death, and I heard the new song and couldn't get into that either. Oh well, I'm going to see them in Phoenix next week!

GA ticket, same as everyone... probably FTTB or got there early. I actually found the camera pretty good, images are sharp, considering you're in the middle of the crowd, and sound is not distorted.

Anyway I'd rather have them keep this over wrathchild or drop wildest dreams for something else on the album. Would have been cool to hear paschendale AND dance of death. We got DoD in Concord when I went. Can't complain though, the show was amazing and Maiden always knows what is best!

Wrathchild is a staple because it is their shortest song...... easily fit in....and it IS a great song to set up for a big tune..like Paschendale.......this show in Montreal was my 27th or 28th Maiden show since 1981... I have many live favorites....but they don't have a bad live tune.. so it's just being picky... I would have liked to hear something dif. from DoD though...Age of Innocence maybe...
