I remember as a kid my parents would take me to church for pretty much every holiday, especially Halloween. One year we were treated to a documentary about the "origins" of the holiday, and I remember there was a short clip from this video in it when Bruce shouts "HELL!" in the chorus. I was blown away from that one word, both a little scared and excited. It was years later till I properly heard Maiden for the first time, so I had no idea who or what it was. When I finally got into them and got to know Bruce's voice, I wondered if it was them in that video but shrugged it off. I finally got around to hearing this song, heard the "HELL!", and remembered the video clip and nearly shit my pants. I was meant to find this band lol Maiden for fucking LIFE!

It's funny how you can tell what decade or even five year block a music video was made just by the way it was filmed. That being said, Iron maiden looks the same in almost all their videos from the early eighties to the nineties. One of the best bands that ever existed.

love this video and song of course, classic maiden in some ways, janick's solo on this one is completely insane and totally loved, say the hell you want but the guy knows how to play and he is a very good composer, that's a fact. on the other hand i love all maiden albums of the XXI century, but kevin shirley just can't get the right sound of the mighty nicko's drums on records, is just my opinion, martin birch really knew how to capture nicko's powerhouse drumming, what do you think people?

Bon Scott influence is strong here... IMO Ac/Dc with Bon Scott on the 70s is cool Hard Rock, if you like NWOBHM , sure you must enjoy the first AC/DC albums mix of punk vibe and garage hard rock..Not to mention, Bruce Dikcinson make a cover of the song Sin City on their solo live album "Dive Dive", really cool album, Janick Gers plays the guitar on that album too
