Dave and Janick had good chemistry which is obvious why Janick is still there even today. They look comfortable and Dave is smiling as always. They were lucky he joined them.

Sadly it's badly produced by Steve Harris in his barn, or not as well as all the previous albums. Martin Birch only co-produced it. But The X-factor and VirtualXI are even worse, the latter being their worst production (but with a few great songs).

I saw this tour in Belfast. One of Bruces last permances. He knew it, we knew it and was a very mixed performance. Saw them in Dublin last month and was a great show.

Be quick or be dead, Remember Tomorrow and Prowler (this one to substitute the song Iron Maiden; sick and tired of this track Iron Maiden) should be brought back to their set list for the next tour. And plus one or two instrumental tracks like Transylvania, The Ides of March or Genghis Khan. I think that it will be fair the vocalist goes to a break while the rest of the band plays instrumental track.

Amazing how camcorder footage can produce a MUCH better result than all of the official live releases from 92/93. Donington 92, Real Live/Dead One...all garbage. Steve shouldn't be allowed to do any production work.

Janick Gers' very loose, neglectful, do not give a damn renditions of Adrian Smith' s parts is just an insult to Iron Maiden's musicality , the fans of old, Adrian Smith's crafted work and to my ears . He could have made at least an effort to sound closer to Adrian's nonetheless he was definately original in his take and a good showman for sure.

Brave new world is a masterpiece and after listening to all the catalogue the other day I think its as good as any album they have done. Plus senjitsu is a grower and all the others have some great songs and are strong albums, the weakest since 2000 being final frontier in my opinion, but brave new world is a masterpiece.

Well, he allowed them to continue. But, they lost a massive(easily 1/3)songwriter and a better player that fit with Dave like hand-in-glove. When Adrian returned it definitely allowed the 3-guitar sound that gives them a fuller tone onstage too.
