don't get your hopes up for any further recovery ... what came back the first 3 months, after the stroke is what'll ever do.. It's all downhill from here due to age ... Can't even hear most of his right hand side crashes ... He can't even do a drum roll or the (already simple) Maiden fills ... He should have made the right decision and retired gracefully, not wait and see if the band would have him... They love him too much and I'm sure they wouldn't tell him to leave ... Which would be the right thing to do.. now they'll only play what Nicko still (somewhat) can ... (Depriving fans from possibly hearing fast paced favorites)

Ever since Janick Gers joined, there have to have been like 20 or 30 songs that sound like this. This is NOT (at all) what Maiden used to be. I wish that when Adrian Smith returned, they thanked Janick and sent him on his way. He's the sloppiest by far of the 3 guitarists. Speaking of which... you don't even NEED 3 guitars. It buries Steve Harris' bass in the mix. They give Adrian (who is their best guitarist)'s solos to Janick live - and he butchers the shit out of them. God... I cannot STAND him being in this band. Maiden were awesome. Probably the best sound mix I've ever heard at a live gig, it was incredible and an amazing performance. The crowd was lame as though. Not the real fans who pushed to the front and went for it, they owned it. But I was at the back of the floor, and just loving it and taking it in and observing, and I reckon 80% of the crowd had no clue, they knew none of the words, no clue when to chant or sing along, it seemed like they didn't even know any of the songs. Weird as. I reckon most of the people were just ticking the box, or clueless. (I get that there were people in seats up higher with kids and stuff just chilling), but the floor? There was at least 20 scumbag losers just lying on the floor around the bar area, whinging about random shite, and people pushing through the crowd like they were getting a train, going in and out, like they had no idea that probably the greatest band ever, in the history of music, were actually playing, right there, it was so weird. I saw them on the Fear of The Dark tour at shitty Festival Hall in '92 (deep in a recession when $ was tight), and I swear everyone in that building sang every word, to every song, and was glued to their performance for every second, because they knew how cool it was. Maiden were awesome and I had a great time, but as the tour goes on and people see footage from North and especially South America, it may become apparent that Melbourne and possibly Australia as a whole, is an irrelevant self-entitled shi..hole. But Maiden were astounding and their show was cool as, I'm truly honoured to have seen it 😊

This song is a highlight for me though, and I have a newfound respect for Death of the Celts after admiring the musicianship that went on.
