In December 1983,there was great concert on a feival in Dortmund ,where performed Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, MSG, Quiet Riot, Krokus, Scorpions, Def Leppard ... One of the largest TV stations in Germany, ZDF, announced the night concert titled "Rock Pop in concert". Recording from the festival was shown on that channel on 14 February 1984. This festival was very special as it was a real birthday of a huge Hard Rock and Heavy Metal scene, which gained a place in Germany and Europe. The festival has also been a platform for many groups, such as Warlock, Manowar, Metallica and others.

В декабре 1983 года, на фестивале в Дортмунде состоялся грандиозный концерт, на котором выступили Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, MSG, Quiet Riot, Krokus, Scorpions, Def Leppard... Одна из крупнейших телевизионных станций Германии , ZDF, анонсировала ночь концерта под названием " Rock Pop in concert". Запись с фестиваля была показана на этом канале 14 февраля 1984 года. Da waren sie noch straight auf den Punkt. Heute nur noch überlange Mammut tracks mit immer den selben zu langen gitarren Intros. Einfach zu proggy. Klar entwickelt sich eine Band auch weiter. Aber mal ein Album mit 10 Kracher von max. 4 Minuten Länge wäre auch geil.

Ich habe IM als Vorgruppe von KISS kennen- und liebengelernt. Beim Powerslave-Konzert war Schluss, ich fühlte mich infantilisiert durch Disney Maiden 😉

Agree totally! No pop, no rock! Pure and straight heavy metal , on the spot! This is music, at it´s best! No pop, but heavy metal.The only band which should have been here, to make the show complete is Motörhead.
