Thanks! the gp12smx is a great amp, so congratulations :) For my tone however, I use the Tech 21 Programmable Sansamp Bass Driver ... I switch the pre-sets and EQ off on the Trace Elliot. The Sansamp is amazing .... makes any amp sound like a big rig .... I highly recommend it :)

On the Sansamp I add bass and treble (decrease mid) with a small bit of overdrive. A big part comes from the bass and flatwound strings :)
