It's faster to farm the "save the embassador" level. Change your snipers into marines, rush the first base. Run up to the rock that drops. Teleport your hero over the wall, unlock the ambassador, teleport south of the wall a bit left of the rock and it will dissapear. Then just holler back to the ship. 460 gears for 2 minutes.

If you have Blue Dragon, level 3 on planet 1 is the easiest way to farm blue gears. You afk during the tutorial bit where the tower shoots enemies, then you send Blue Dragon all the way to the top and use Ultrablast on the enemy base, which will die in one hit. You finish the whole level in about 1 minute and it gives you 320 blue gears.

Fastest Gear grinding method by far is to rush the enemy base with your Hero on the map Retaliation (Level 3). 300/min. Much higher XP earned here in this video though.

If anyone wants to know you need 44950 blue gears in total to buy all the upgrades. Farming blue gears on this level without the "Research Treaty" upgrade will take you about 72 times. With "Research Treaty" 66 times. So normally you'll get all your upgrades around 66-72 times if you keep farming at this level.

But you have to get to the level first, so probs only need to do it 50 times once you reach Lvl 14

For "Emergency Frequency", you can just stash all your troops to the right of the map where all the enemies enter (change both mechs to flamethrowers, position the 2 sniper squads slightly behind), go take a break, and check back in ~9 minutes for ~518 blue coins (with the 10% upgrade).

My tip for Emergency Frequency is, just select all units and camp enemy spawn spot ... ;D its easy...even in impossible ;)

Any hero will do on this trick on lvl 13. Firstly I just get the 3 gems and set up a quick protection. Then comes the cheese, spawn the green mecha and move him to the leftmost side bridge, then pick up your hero and drop him on the platform just revealing on the left. After that, move your hero a little left edge and drop a dropgunner to the next platform and set the computer. After setting off the computer, all the bridge will open and quickly move you green mecha to hold the computer. Don't worry bout the squads attacking it, they won't destroy it. Though be cautious about the sniper that will target that green mecha while also noting while all of this steps are happening, to keep awareness also on your base. After the green mecha is on the computer, let your hero back on base and protect it until over. Boom, quick run

Pretty late but another great way to farm gears would be to play the spec op "A New Despair"(Sagan-1) on casual playing as Roy. With a maxed out Roy I was able to get 500 gears in about 1:45. A whole lot faster than farming Rob070(especially with the unskippable cut scene on that level)

Just did this and only got 106 gears on my first time beating the level. It’s been doing that for all levels since I got to the second world. Is this a glitch?

On Sagan-1 level 3. If u have at least level 4 Fate, max your second ability which is the bomb, you can actually just one shot their base. It takes less than 2 mins for about 300 blue currency, I'm pretty sure this is the fastest way to farm blue currency. The bad thing about this method is you can only do this with Fate, other heroes don't work.

26 minutes 1>10lvl farm (my example -> Blue Dragon). Lvl 7 Cocoon casual. Change Engineer to Ranger, Diplomat to Guardian, buy pair of Guardians and rush the cocoon. In about 30-40 seconds you will break the cocoon. So it takes about 1 MINUTE to finish the lvl. So about 30 minutes to farm from lvl1 to 10 with any hero
