Is the htv better or longer-lasting than permanent vinyl?

Great video. I always use 651 permanent vinyl. I'm going to try the HTV Glitter Vinyl. I have seen where other crafters have done this process, but never showed what they done. I even hVe one of those small irons too. For those asking how to wash the glass. You should always hand wash the glasses that has 651 permanent vinyl or HTV glitter vinyl on them. Rinse out the inside. Never submerge them in water and do not put them in dishwasher. These are personalized glasses. This is FYI.

I use dishwasher safe glasses because I worried about that too. If it can take the heat from the dishwasher I figured it would take the tiny iron too.

polycrylic is better than mod podge when sealing. The satin one or clear gloss

@@MamaPlusCEO Have you tried the weatherproof vinyl for outdoors, like for signs? It works great on coffee mugs and wine glasses, but you have to wash them by hand. My daughter uses her coffee cup I made her several times a day and pops it into the microwave, too. It's been two months and still holding strong.

You probably want to use a iron that doesn't have a steam feature on it. You only want the heat not the steam. If this helps you. I use the smallest easy press when working on small projects like this.

Before I had mine, I used and exacto knife to cut out a design for shirts! Best for if you need bold things (like sorority Greek letters, for example) because the finer details may not come out as crisp around the edges!
