Overpants are the way to go. I have a summer pair and a winter pair. It only takes a second to put them on or take them out and I can switch up the armor any way that suits me. Also, I don't have to worry about messing up expensive Kevlar jeans if I want to change the oil in my truck when I get home or how many times they've been washed, etc... 👍

My favorite store.. not really.. but we go there alot. It's a nice ride of us. We live in Holmes County. "Amish Country" I have the opposite problem with pants. I'm 6'3", and have long legs. So all pants are high water pants..I agree on the brands making pants to fit everyone ok.. they don't.. lol.. oh well.. Thanks for the videos.

Sorry Beth, I would try to convince him to get the Honda. They have way less maintenance costs and tend to last so much longer. Just my opinion. Thanks for taking us into the dressing room, lol Jeans are for sitting on a bike, sit down and see how they fit.

I like Bohn riding gear. They are armored underwear. You wear them under your jeans, of course this is easier if you wear loose fitting jeans. They also have armored tops that are mesh. On really hot days you can wear them without anything else and get a good breeze blowing over you. Check them out.

I have curves! It’s so hard to find moto gear that fits. Once they fit over my thighs and butt, the waist is too big. My favorite is Oxford moto leggings, Kevlar lined with knee and hip armor, but I don’t wear the hip armor.

@@BikerBabeBeth I have to tug them on from the calf area to get the knee armor in place, then work them up over my tush. Once they’re on, they are extremely comfortable and I don’t have any issues with getting them back up after visiting the loo. 😉 They don’t have a fly, so this is a problem for some. This doesn’t bother me at all.

I've been considering getting some riding jeans but it's a nightmare to try and find regular jeans to fit me. Im 5'2" 105 and wear a 0 or 00. Honestly, I dread even the thought of looking for them much less trying countless pairs on. Im not even aware of a brick and mortar store that might carry them within a hour or so drive from me. Finding motorcycle gear to fit me can be quite tricky. I do wish manufacturers would consider really small women whenever they design gear.

Problem with chaps is the don’t protect a major slide prone area.... your ass and I’ve never owned a pair of chaps that have armor in the knees/hips. Any pair of textile pants that are rated at a 6 second slide is at the same level of abrasion protection as a good pair of leathers

I have owned 10 Harleys and the only Harley that is dead reliable is the Sportster and it is labeled like a metric bike - 883, 1000, 1200cc, not CUBIC INCHES. Why is that? No answer needed.
