The bad part about the iron sights is that 90% of them are garbo. There’s only a handful that are actually semi usable, and only a few of those are actually good, like the ARX and the MP7

Iron sights on aruni and dokkabei's mk 14 ebr are straight out of call of duty world at war, legit built like an m1 garand and m1a1 carbine iron sight, It's pretty nice for style points

Hard to believe that finally, after almost a decade, there is _some_ reason for iron sights to exist as a choice in this game. Maybe by 2030, they will even make them somewhat balanced, since when it comes to functioning as sights, they still range from "competitive with reflexes" (MP7) to "you might as well close your eyes" (M14).

I think the Iron Sight Buff is great, but should be expanded. They should put the Iron Sights into different categories and provide different buffs depending on how much your Iron Sight obscures your target. For example, The MP7, ACS12, and ARX200 Provide the current and smallest buff. The R4-C, AK-12, and Type 89 provide a moderate buff. And the AR-15.50, FMG-9 and MK14 EBR provided the Largest Buff, like 250 ms faster. That way every Iron Sight is relatively viable in relationship to how much it obscures the target.

Only problem with the new banning system is that I know someone who went into copper lobbies and went 10 and 2, so had a 5.0 KD, and was subsequently banned for use of XIM (he’s on PlayStation). He whines about it but then again, that’s what you get for playing for frags in copper lobbies and exploiting the newer players. Sometimes, it’s better to play it casually when your enemies aren’t your level. So yeah, it isn’t perfect, but it’s a start to something potentially groundbreaking.

I think it would be a nice feature if, when being flashed or concussed, the HUD would be momentarily disabled. Maybe have it be a ranked feature? Or perhaps add a "hard-core mode" that completely removes HUD and in-game comms like microphone and drone pinging after dying in a round. What do you think?
