It's a lovely sound but so much of it doesn't mean a thing. It's just a collection of nice words with no actual meaning. I've been performing this song myself and i really needed to learn it well and after a while you think..what does this actually mean? Theres a few good lines but so much of it is nonsense that i had to change some of it as i could see people looking at me like, what does that mean...

I first heard this song while watching Longmire. I had heard other songs by Iron and wine, but never this one. I just loved it!!! To me its about finding contentment in every situation whether good or bad, because we're only here for just a moment in time. So make the best of it regardless. Things do seem to have a way of working out. 🫶🙂🫵
