It actually makes sense considering the time frames involved and how quickly they were standing up the RDF that they would have relied on member governments. I could easily imagine that the UK would have been operating one or more Prometheus or Deadalus class carriers and would have named her the Ark Royal. The Zentraedi would have known they were in trouble when they ran into IDF Valkyries! 😉

Great video. Run the little text bits for a bit longer, hard to read them as they flash by. Very funny idea that there were British VTs, but I expect there could have been. Very creative and well executed. You ever want to animate one of my stories, I would love it.

The sound design is kind of mid. The metallic ratcheting sounds for the elevators do not match the size, scale, and mass of what we're seeing. It's sort of the sound of a draw bridge being lilfting for example. I'm not hating on the work. I really do love Macross/Robotech. It's just the weakest part of the video.

Because these guys are idiots, and they mix the designs that were used in SDF Macross TV, which was used by Harmony Gold to create Robotech, and then they use designs from SDF Macross Do You Remember Love? movie, which was never, ever in HG's possession nor is it part of Robotech.

This is a Chinese group that if you paid attention, instead of getting carried away by blind and mediocre fanaticism, you would see that they are only looking to profit from nostalgia. They are not interested in quality or improvement, they release these videos with poor editing, effects that feel very, very old, and of course, with so many incongruities that the cringe is felt by the real fans. I invite you to search here on youtube, a video also in CGI, called Macross Skull Squadron. It is made by a single person, with great attention to detail. That is a real fan that does things with love, with knowledge of the series, and does not seek to profit above all things as this channel does.
