When it comes to characters who are meant to do long combos, I think they should do a thing where their attacks are sped up the higher the count is. And after a certain point it becomes like how it is on breakers when someone uses a melee. That way, long combos would stop eating so much time. But then it'd bring a negative that it'd mean they get more damage with fewer interruptions due to the speed increase that wouldn't allow as many cover changes. I wouldn't know how to fix that.
