That roost you see second prop at 1/2-3/4 in race size oval turn will be more raceable setup. The hull doesn't seem to need a lot lift from real lifting prop. I did similar De-tongue leading tip to all props. Like to see on bigger safer pond.

Big B!! Morning buddy! Great video. I have been using micrometer & measuring tip to tip on my props to get actual diameter. It Changes a bit after balancing. Then I write the actual size in the front side of blade. You can see it in my videos here. Surprised that 642 was faster then the high rake 🤔. I feel my high rakes are faster. I’m really liking the M445 octura on UL19 as basher. Lots for me to learn still! Cheers!!

Can’t wait to see what the high rake does at the speed run spot where u have more room. Got 75 with the stock and ordered the oxi high rake, will be interesting to see if there’s a significant speed difference

Great video, with either prop I believe you could win some races with that whole setup, the high rake would handle the chop well. what is the rake of the props you use on your drag boat, the purple Oxidean props ? Thanks Big B 👍

Reducing a prop's diameter does not increase the pitch (in inches traveled per revolution), but it does change the pitch ratio (pitch divided by diameter). A 1.7" (43mm) x 1.6 pitch ratio prop reduced to 42mm will result in a 1.645 pitch ratio. Based on temps, I surmise the Octura prop allows the motor to spin up a bit more where the efficiency improves. Increasing a prop's rake actually reduces the lift a prop creates (It tends to "focus" the thrust cone; I sent you a link to look at). Take an Octura 17XX prop and an Octura P-7XX prop of the same diameter: They are essentially the same, except the P prop has more rake, whereas the 17XX has almost no rake. The 17XX has more lift than the P-7XX.

@@Buellerwtfman Big B enjoys working on props. I find it tedious, especially with the small props I run. It's a bear to balance small props because the lever arm for an out of balance blade is so small and most balancers have limitations that effect the repeatability of a measurement. Just try to balance a 26mm aluminum prop and you will see what I mean.

Quick question , on a side note , could you tell me with the S wake V2 if i should go with 2 Spektrum Pro Basher, smart 11.1v,6800 mah,3s ,120 C Lipos, or a single 22.2v 6800mah,6s,120 pro basher? There is about a 100 gram difference between the total weight of the twin packs versus the single brick.Would appreciate your advice on the selection for the V2 overall.Thanks

Personally I like single 6s packs, less hassle, when it comes to charging, plus i have several boats & cars I can use the single 6s pack in. If your other Rc's don't take a single 6s & use twin 3s I'd go with the twins.

Did you ever fill in the lows 3D print on the sponsons on UL? Are you still going to carbon fiber inside of UL? I blew my 2nd stock motor yesterday. Oxidean 2200kv on the way!!

The low rake gets up to speed faster if the pond was longer the raked prop would be much faster
