@@NoahClarkFitness always grind it out! Always something new to learn even If you’re way back. keep your fitness up and get some good practice trying to get by the lower class riders. I’m sure that will come in handy when you gotta make a move on someone in your class!!

I was in the am race and I did the same exact thing where you got stuck except for the chain part. I underestimated that rut luckily my brother was standing by the water tower at our camp and helped me get it out!

Hey I retired early. Any whoo hey bud you did great. We all get stuck sometimes but you didn't panic and roade your race!!! I remember racing there one year and it rained the whole race. Was like riding on ice. Can't tell ya how many times I picked my bike up. But I kept it going and yes I took the long line around that stupid hill. Hey I'm here to race and get a good place no shame in taking that line !!! I could go on about it but I'm not. You did great big guy !!! WFO

GNCC races are tough. Make a mistake early and your done. Not to mention riding against the best racers in the Country. Glad you stuck with it and finished.

Just some advice, it would make it A lot Easier on ya if you would stand up on ta rough shit, Trust me, takes a little getting used too, but after u get ya feel, u would be so much faster!!😎💯🤙

You have to be clear, you didn't just fall back to 3rd early in the race, but third behind some guy wearing a plaid flannel shirt, lol. Nice riding. The terrain reminds me of home in Kentucky.

I think you would have had much better luck if you ran the XC3 Class. You are definitely fast enough for that class, and you wouldn't have gotten hung up by the less experienced riders who started ahead of you.
