So, I guess I'll tune into another report on KONA 2018 to see how the women did. Good coverage of the men's race. TERRIBLE coverage of the women's record-breaking performance.

Well then why didn’t it get more coverage? Same thing goes for any women’s sport. If something doesn’t attract as much revenue as the men’s sport (and let’s be honest, everything in big venue competition is about revenue) then it isn’t going to be covered. It isn’t about being sexist, its about dollars. Plain and simple

@@absolutetuber simple and wrong... look at the numbers, fx Babbittville Championship Edition, views for the top 4 men till this moment 38871, for the top 4 women 41717; pre race interviews top 5 male athletes 44849, top 5 female athletes 63818 views. So at least in this case there is even more interest in the female athletes than the males. And that clearly shows that your comment is not about the real numbers (I guess you didn't even took time to look at them...), but ONLY about sexism and prejudice

Cool....name for me a major pro-athlete sport where the women pull more than men in terms of revenue. Even in the US where soccer interest is low the men still come out ahead. Just accept it, it’s a well known fact so the onus of trying to prove otherwise falls on you. Hold the phone....did you base your argument on the number of KZbin views. Wow.... 🤦‍♂️
