What CD meant, is that you have to speak to Siri differently, to match its stupid trained pattern of speech recognition that's centered only around a specific group of people (mostly adults, mostly english speakers, mostly male) that had (and still has, but it's been improved apparently) huge problems in catching children, women and in general people with a slightly higher pitch. I mean, in the early days, you basically had to speak like: "Find. Me. The. Closest. Closet. To. Hide. In.".

Little fun fact for those who don't do a lot of vocal work: People have different parts of their voice! From lowest to highest: fry, chest, & head. Everyone speaks with a mix of these three, and what combination feels most comfortable depends on what they're used to and any health conditions affecting them. Unfortunately people who speak with a less common mixture of these three or who shift their voice around a lot more are often bullied by people who insist that their natural voice isn't their "real voice". A good example is women with vocal fry often being ridiculed for it

@@MothMedusa oh when it comes to IronMouse I’m pretty sure you’re correct, I recall hearing that now that you say it, which is why it’s hard to dislike a high pitched Vtuber voice because you can’t know if they’re putting on a show or if it’s their real voice. I’d rather real voice all day, there’s too many big standard sounding Vtubers because they do that “cutesy” voice. Snuffy was one I wasn’t big on until she started using her real voice, and I like her a lot more now. I won’t give them shit over it, because that’s cruel and rude, but I won’t watch them if it sounds like they’re doing it. IronMouse always had something in her voice that seemed legit to me though, even if it’s high pitched. That all aside I’m glad she recovered and can use her voice at all, I can’t imagine being mute, and how that would suck in todays world, being a Vtuber would be next to impossible
