Now that the passenger side of Mike's "Crapiolet" is roughed in and the cowl is looking a lot better, it's time to turn our attention to the driver's quarter panel. The driver's quarter panel needs the same repairs as the passenger side, the lower front of the quarter and the wheel well. Mike works on fitting up all the panels and calls in Matt for the welding. The next step is to turn our attention to the doors, which are probably the worse part of the entire body. Hopefully we can kick ass this winter and get this one on the road!!

Looking like a car again, rather than a wreck, Mike! Betting your child will be mighty.excited to see dad's hot rod on the road! We are heroes to our children until the pre-teen years when we become frenemies for a decade, or so. Bask in it for now. (Once they achieve adulthood, dad is once again in a place of honor!)

You guys should get heroes pay for bringing this crappy body back to life. I don't know what your long term vision is for this cabriolet, but I have seen some that had a 2" windshield chop that look so cool. Pretty daring not wearing leather gloves and safety glasses when cutting sheet metal, not trying to be a safety monitor just don't want you to get a bad cut on your hands or a chunk of metal in your eye's. Just when I was teaching welding Safety was number one because if any student would have got hurt and the administration would have heard about it. The class would have got shut down. All the welding classes did eventually got shut down in all the community collages in California bay area but I got it to last as long as I could. Got to meet many people in the industry's when I was working for the welding courses in the community collages in California.

Mike had a budget and wanted a 34 ford. This is what he could afford and luckily he has a friend that can help get it back in shape. It’s also good to show on our channel what can be saved. If all we did was build bolt together fiberglass street rods it would get pretty boring!
