I love watching these iron worker videos. Much respect for these guys however I don't understand why anyone would go into it with all of the other trades you could do at equal or better pay with less risk of injury and abuse to your body. I'm definitely not a heights guy. I did construction for 8 years but hated sloped roofs and ladders. The iron workers were always a unique group of guys to have around the site.

Jens, can I have your permission to use some of video content? I want to show people how professional crews install steel. Of course, I will send them to your channel for more video content, I am sure they will enjoy your videos. I am educating the layman and the engineers on my channel. Fair play to you geezers.im a steel worker but not on that scale.how do you you get away with slinging a beam with a wire strop on a single wrap.we have to chain it and double wrap for bite.just curious it looks scary.

Man it’s crazy how you’re basically trusting a shutter of aluminum to walk on. Guys got bigger balls than cops
@twitch013 жыл бұрын
Police work isn't even top 10 dangerous jobs in US and they're only top 20 because they drive so much. More police deaths are suicide or car crash than murder. Not saying this as an anti cop thing or anything, just that there's a lots more jobs more dangerous like even carpentry is more dangerous.

Climb the column when the piece is close that way ya not waiting there hanging by ya balls. Also for you hot shots dont use ya bar to stand on as ya bar is your most important tool. Stand on ya bull pin or your opposite wrench.
