I was one of the members of "la potate" (one of the people holding the caution tape who ran with the dragon) and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life! It was one thing being so close to Long Ma but what made it so amazing was seeing everyone's expressions of awe, childlike wonder and fascination. One for the books!

Yep I was in the byward market yesterday and got him roaming around, what a show but I swear their were more people out than on Canada day, so now Long Ma takes a nap!!!!!

I live in the Byward Market, it was great to see Long Ma and Kumo. What a feat of mechanical engineering! The operators and musicians must have been so hot in their black outfits.

It was a one weekend spectacle. The show is an interactive art exhibit from France that is travelling the world. I hope you get to see it, well worth the crowds.

Mattigot , thanks...if you love traveling check out Taipei 101, Elephant mountain 40 minutes hiking up the stairs to see a spectacular view. Plus Taipei Beitou Hot Spring take MRT underground train REDlane head North to Beitou Station, walk downstairs DO NOT EXIT take elevators up to another special train one stop to XinBeitou station walk towards the park look for museum and Thermal Valley Hot Springs...you will be surprised what you see, there are public Hot Springs cost NT. 150, USD $4.50...You also enjoy seeing nices people who speak English and definitely enjoy the food.
