17 years after I began to study English, I have known that the verb Teach is not Teached in the past, but Thaught/Thaught. Thank you, Andrew.

taught not 'thaught' i know this comment is old but it is intended for people who pass by it thinking 'thaught' is the right way to spell taught

the pronunciation between Began and begun is similar enough to be confused! In the word Began we hear a lot of A (this for italian pronunciation), in the word Begun the pronunciation goes a little towards the O, at least I feel it.
@CrownAcademyEnglish6 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is correct. It's a subtle difference.

Hi A.: all the time, "has, have" are auxiliaries Present Perfect? or Present Indicative and Present perfect?...always we are use the Present Perfect whith Past Participle? I'm confused...TK, 21.1.2018
@CrownAcademyEnglish6 жыл бұрын
Hi Leanor. The present perfect is made up of: "have" (in the present simple form) + past participle of the main verb. "have" is the auxiliary verb. Example - the present perfect form of walk: I have walked you have walked he / she / it *has* walked we have walked you have walked they have walked. Video about the present perfect form - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rH2se2x9m9WofMU The past perfect tense also uses the verb "have" as an auxiliary verb, but a different tense of have. Past perfect: "have" (in the *past simple* form) + past participle of the main verb. "have" is the auxiliary verb. Example - the past perfect form of walk: I had walked you had walked he / she / it had walked we had walked you had walked they had walked. Video about the past perfect - kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4vSoZaMgal2fsk Andrew
