That's what I do as well. Students clap their hands, stand up or raise their hands when they hear an irregular verb rather than completing the gaps.

Best way to learn irregular verbs. Every day once a week write a test with irregular verbs. At the beginning of the year it isn't going to be very good but at the end of the year it's going to be much better. Just a little tip

Gotta love no. 6! But sometimes there are problems with no. 2 because children consider it a North Korean army drill :o)
