Mountain and it’s hard life . Life in Himalayas is not easy as it seems . It was my first time to witness the “irrigation “ in kinnaur. I have shared my experience of irrigation in this video.

It is a real picture of typical Kinnauri irrigation system today... Himalyan glaciers are the only sourse of irrigation in Kinnaur and to get the water channelised up to the fields has always been an herculean task.. The necessity of irrigation has increased manifold in recent times due to comprehensive apple cultivation in Kinnaur. We have seen construction of some major canals such as kashang /aapka, yula kanda / chagaon and Duling etc.. but certainly much more is required to meet optimum water requirement of the district.. It is great to see you working hard up front and in the meantime able to provide our realistic life to outside world.. Your work on every aspect of the creativity is amazing & par excellence..
