I’ve been putting my same information in for a whole YEAR and now it’s WRONG, WTF??? Tried to call and they will not let you in. I was told you have to call for something else, because if it’s concerning your tax refund it will tell you to wait and kick you out and that is very true. I’m going to try my local office to see if I could get an appointment. This is now the next tax season and I know I will run into some serious problems. They owe me a lot of money and I want my refund.

My refund hasn’t been processed at all. The paperwork was sent to them all the way back in July 17th. They keep saying that due to the current pandemic, processing tax returns will be delayed. I’m a 21 year old 4th year college student and my refund is called “federal student return” this is my second time requesting it. Last year I received my refund in a month, nothing compared to this. Which is sad since I was counting with those funds to help my family during this difficult times and I had to pay $60 to the accountant who filled my return.

I mailed my return on February 15. Today is August 24. The IRS tool now says my refund is "still being processed." I don't know how long it has said that because I completely gave up on checking the IRS tool after about 4 months of checking it and not even getting an acknowledgement of receipt. Unfortunately this video is not helpful for me at all because I cannot afford to hire a CPA or attorney to call the IRS. If I could afford that I wouldn't need my refund. As for calling them myself - I'm afraid to do that. Isn't everyone terrified of the IRS? Drawing attention to oneself could, I think, trigger an audit - and that's even worse than not getting my refund. 😭

Hello, I had the same issue with the 2020 tax return. Has been almost a year, it was accepted on April 2021 and I haven’t received my return. I try calling but the system directs me to same kind system as “where is my refund” but by phone. Today I tried to access again and it said that the information that I was entering to check the status is incorrect… any advice on this?

I filed my taxes by paper in March. Received a letter in September from the IRS telling me that I failed to file a schedule D. I wrote back a week later to the IRS telling them that I was not required to file a schedule D since the only capital gains I had were from Mutual Fund entities which gave me a 1099 -DIV. I even sent them a copy of the 1099-DIV along with a copy of same instructions. It is very frustrating to wait so long for a refund and have it excessively delayed because of a mistake on their part. Worst government agency in the U.S.

They kept telling me that they wanted to prove that I was who I say I was and everytime I try to check my status online oh, it says that it cannot be processed at this time. And when I try to do my taxes back in February, they kept giving me the runaround about my information being wrong but I have the same Bank information I had for 5 years. So they told me that I couldn't file electronically and I had to file through the mail. Well I did that back in April or May I think, I still haven't received my taxes and I haven't received any information from the IRS letting me know that something's wrong. This is fucking ridiculous

I filed my on Feb.12 2020 after waiting 5 months I called the IRS July 20 and they told me they were going to send a “referral” to see what’s going on and to wait 2-4 weeks So I can get my refund or a letter from them. Well on August 30 I received a letter from them saying I need to send form 8962 and form 1095-A. So I sent both forms a few days later. And till this day I still haven’t receive my tax return.

The search option does not find a match for my tax return. I filed my taxes by mail every year and no problems at all, usually got my refund in a few weeks. Filed my sons taxes electronically at the end of Feb. same time as my own. Got my refund but the son didn't get his. In July he gets a letter saying there is an issue with a previous year Market place charge, which we called about and got resolved by mail. Answered the letter on July13 2020 including all the documents and explanations of what was resolved. Letter said we might have to wait up to 12 weeks for a reply. It's been almost 15 weeks and haven't heard a word back. Called the number and ext number on the letter numerous times with no success at talking with a live person. Have not heard back since we responded in July.

So I have been waiting for my refund since the end of March I was told I needed to sent in my 1095 A form along with the irs form However when I check the where's my refund page it still says still processing. I have called numerous amounts of time and I have been told to wait 6 to 8 weeks more recently that the processing center began working as of August 1 and to wait 6 to 8 weeks from that day.
