All 4 trains that go to new lots they use the local track to run express because I think there is no switch to the new lots track from the express track after you go south of Crown Heights. And even if there was, the reason it does, that is to reduce congestion for trains that terminate at Utica.

No, we went express on the local track. That’s what usually happens with the 4s that go to New Lots in PM Rush since the other track is used for trains terminating at Utica. Sometimes u can have trains running on the express track to New Lots if a terminating train clears the track
