I just find it interesting that iruma's character in the manga is slowly developing into somewhat similar to the demon king's personality yet his "evil cycle" is so similar to delkira's personality and they even got the same hair!

I know that the story is obviously setting Iruma up for that, but I still find it unbelievable that someday, this human that was sold to a demon for a king’s ransom will sit upon that throne. I can’t wait to see the path he walks to get there.

it's just a theory but i dont think that iruma is just an ordinary human child . I think He is the son of Delkiera adopted by a human couple .it would explain why Iruma's parents always treated him harshly and how he feels the demon realm to b his home . It will also explain why Sullivan went to bring Iruma to the demon realm (he could have adopted any demon as his grandchild)

@@zeynepyucekaya don't know about Clara mom's but it has been hinted that there are demons who are just as powerful as the 13 crowns but due to one reason or another, they aren't part of the group. For example Bachiko aka Iruma bow master is a new addition to the table as of late but she has said multiple times in the Manga that both the leader and vice leader of her clan (the barbatos clan) are stronger than her yet they don't want the position as at least with the head of the Barbatos clan, he is more interested on making magic archery even stronger hence why he was interested in Irumi on the demidol competition. As archery is an extremely rare skill to develop for demons and Iruma on disguise was showing amazing skill on TV despite Bachiko asking to keep his skills on low profile. If not for Bachiko Barbatos would have tracked him down and forcefully married Irumi to Robin but going back to the main topic, he is so interested on magic archery he does not care about hell affairs and sent Bachiko in his place to the dinner of the 13

Im thinking that, perhaps due to getting corrupted, assassinated or out of his own decision (tired of life?), Delkira's soul was split in half and put in the ring. The other have was put into reincarnation cycle. However so much time past that his soul left in the ring forgot his own consciousness and thus when Iruma went to level 3 rank, he was able to be manifested and could only remember pieces of his former life. As Iruma continue to go stronger and go into his evil cycle, perhaps they would merge back?? We see that at least one of the 13 crowns (blonde dude) has bad intentions so could be he poisoned Delkira to forget his for lack of a better term, "humanity"? Morality? And who knows, maybe he has other allies within the system too? Hmmmm either way. Im hyped for season 3. :)

I haven't read enough of the manga yet but from the beginning, i personally always felt that Derkila merely abdicated because he got so bored and sad. I honestly think the creation of the Royal One, the council, the world he created, those were all just short term goals that were meant to shock and rattle the rest of the demon world. Then when the rest of the underworld began to consider his every achievement as some godly act, he probably began to resent it. There's always that underlying theme. "Demons are easily bored." But also I just feel the king was frustrated and sad that everything he did was met with praise, as if he wish so badly that his fellow demons could for once be proud and motivated for their own sakes and not for the crown. I also am unsure if Derkila told Sullivan of his plan to abdicate, but Sullivan definitely guessed it. Derkila probably sent off some part of himself to the human realm, hoping that maybe a human could succeed where Derkila had failed in creating an underworld that strives for a future instead of relying on a king for every little thing.

There's shit tons of theories, but I don't really feel like talking about it. I'm just gonna let the manga slowly reveal the relation between Iruma and Derkila. But I'm 100% sure that Iruma has SOME sort of relation to Derkila because Sullivan wouldn't have adopted him in the first place. If he really wanted a grandson, he could've gone to other human children or grab one from the streets, with no family or loved ones. There are tons of people who's willing to sell their children to the devil in real life (sadly psychopaths do exist). Out of all people in the human world, why Iruma? It's definitely not out of his own whims. He seems to have expectations for Iruma but for what, we don't know yet. The manga has also been kind enough to hint at the similarities between Iruma and the demon king. What was Sullivan's true goal in adopting Iruma specifically? And why have expectations instead of for the sake of his own amusements and satisfaction? Important of all, what's Iruma's relation to Derkila?

It's obvious that Iruma has some sort of connection with Derkila. I'm guessing, either Iruma is actually Derkila and Alikred is his demon power sealed away by Sullivan. Another possibility is that Derkila foresaw that Iruma will create a better netherworld, so he sealed himself away as Alicred and tasked Sullivan to raise him as the future demon king. Because there's no way in hell that Sullivan just chose Iruma as his grandson randomly

What if Derkila left the demon world and went to the human world and fell in love with a human woman and had a kid and then that kid had a kid and so and so forth until that lineage finally led to Iruma, who would be the descendent of the demon king derkila basically making him 1/16th demon or 1/32nd demon depending on how many generations have passed. Maybe Derkila has part of his soul trapped in the ring . Somehow Sullivan knew Iruma is Derkila's descendent and bought him and made him his grandson.

ngl i really do like the worlding in mairuma and i like the way they actually define the demons. they are purely selfish and are only passionate for their own desires. you would wonder how its able to be so civil despite being something human consider bad, but things are so civil because it's beneficial for everyone. they have no real empathy for others, but they do things because it benefits them. following rules means that they have more time to actually do the things they want and strive for. they dont do anything because they think that they should do it for the greater good, they do it because its benefitting them. i think that it is so simple but also really intriguing. they're able to be so normal and yet so different from what we think people should act and aspire. i like how normal selfishness is. because selfishness is not bad all of the time. and here iruma is, someone who was forced his entire life to not be selfish because he wouldn't survive otherwise, his whole arc is centered around him learning to be greedier and actually be selfish. i really like the selfishness because it doesn't paint demons as actually evil or malicious. most of all they are selfish and extremely loyal. how they will do anything it takes for their ambitions, thats something to admire

I have a theory. Many people have pointed this out but Delkira in reverse is Alikred or "Alicred", and the 2 share the same voice actor. They aren't even hiding the tone of voice Ali uses. My theory is that Sullivan getting Iruma is a part of Delkira's plan of sort, and Ali is Delkira in some way. I think Delkira put himself in the ring, to monitor Sullivan. And it was Sullivan's judgement to pick the child that will serve as the next demon king. Or maybe, Iruma was raised to be that way since the start due to a deal with Sullivan. Maybe the deal was: "Treat your child this certain way and we'll pick him up at age #, in exchange we give you blah blah."

So my theory is that iruma is delkira. One of delkiras pranks went wrong and seperated his demonic essence and power from his body turning it into a human infant, gramps is the only one who knows and handed iruma (delkira child form) off to a couple of humans in a deal to raise him until he can survive on his own, hence why alikred is the ring known as SOLOMONS ring, as well as why he has delkiras voice actor and why only iruma actively has any control over it. This isnt a human becoming the demon lord this the demon lord reincarnating back to his true place.

I assume that Iruma and Ali already are to parts of the Demon King. The Demon King somehow choose to leaf netherworld so he did some magic and the non magical part of him got reborn in the humanworld, while the magical part, that Harry Potter Hocrux like part if him, ends up in netherworld. The only one that was involved in his plan was Sully and he knew he one day needs to find him and bring him back because he had lost his total memory (as the ring part too). After Iruma comes back the ring was destined to find him and when Iruma went up to the last rank both will reunite again and he will gain back his memories and his full power. I can't help myself, there are too many hints that both, Iruma and the Ring belong together for a very special reason, that neither can't be coincidence nor just a intentional distraction, or are they?😜😂🤣

I just thought of something! Has anyone watched "Kyou Kara Maou"? What if the premise is similar - that the soul of Delkira came to Iruma as a baby, thus making him his descendant and a potential Demon King. Also here are some characters that quite represent each other from both shows - Ofc Iruma is Yuri; Sullivan/Opera can be both Conrad who take care of both MCs; Azz is Gunter (who both are super loyal to Iruma/Yuri) Clara is Anissina; Ameri is Wolfram (lol they both love the MC) and Kalego-sensei is Gwendal even Alikred is Morgif. The rest of Iruma's friends can also be Yuri's subjects. XD Anyway go watch both show and read their manga, it's super nice! XD

I did not think he is a child of Delkira. because we already saw the iruma parent in starting. yes, I think he is a descendant of Delkira. because Sullivan and Amduscias(Legendary singer and former 13 crown member AND THE CLOSEST DEMON TO DELKIRA) also saw that iruma personality is same as Delkira.
