Awesome! My 72 ranchero is at the chassis shop right now. Its getting a back half and 4 link and an 8.50 cert cage for my 545 ci bbf should be a super fun car!

The 400 will make good HP and TQ.. The ranchero weight 4000 and the 75 might be alittle more.. Enjoy the journey.

Hey man this is Chris with the Impala that runs at Irwindale.I can’t find any 1 3/4 or 7/8 headers for my car.If you have the time during this dry spell racing and can fabricate me some headers let me know.Search big smith here on KZbin you will know who I am.

Chris mine were easy to do. Yours would be a different can of worms. I dont have a lift or the room. I hate to say I cant help you right now. Let me see what I can find. What year is your Impala?

460 pushed to 545 ci. Runs on 91 pump gas. Fastest at 1/8 mile was 6.88 @ 101mph managed 11.24 @ 119 mph for a 1/4 mile the Ranchero weighed 4000 pounds with driver.
